We are pleased to announce the call for nominations for the University of Minnesota President’s Community-Engaged Scholar Award.
This annual, systemwide award recognizes one faculty member or one academic professional and administrative employee for exemplary community-engaged scholarship in his or her field of inquiry.
Each college on the Twin Cities campus and the campuses of Crookston, Duluth, Morris, and Rochester may select one individual to serve as a finalist for the award. All finalists become eligible for the University-wide award, which includes a one-time $15,000 prize. All finalists will be recognized at an awards luncheon on April 18, at which time the winner will be announced.
Detailed instructions regarding the nomination process can be found on the Office for Public Engagement website. All nominations must go through the appropriate college contact listed on the award page. Nominations materials are due Friday, March 28, 2014.
